STONE HARBOR, NJ — The Tuesdays at the Tower, Stone Harbor Summer Concert Series continues this Tuesday, July 21st featuring Michael Pedicin. The Borough of Stone Harbor and Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend this free 90 minute concert that begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Water Tower Plaza, on 95th Street & Second Ave in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
Thanks to our concert sponsor, Stone Harbor’s newest luxury boutique hotel, The Reeds at Shelter Haven, internationally recognized jazz saxophonist Michael Pedicin will be performing on our stage. Pedicin’s career spans more than four decades and includes stints with Dave Brubeck, David Bowie, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Pat Martino, Stanley, Clarke, and many others. He has toured throughout the world with these artists as well as with his own quintet. Pedicin has performed as a saxophone soloist on countless recordings, and has 12 CDs of his own.
Pedicin also earned a Ph.D. in psychology and, in addition to his musical activities, has a private psychology practice specializing in helping creative people. He’s an active educator who founded Temple University’s jazz studies program and is currently a Professor of Music and Coordinator of Jazz Studies at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
