OPEN
The Borough of Stone Harbor is pleased to announce that on Friday, May 22nd their beaches will be open for the enjoyment of all residents and visitors. Stone Harbor beaches will be open for passive and active purposes, which now includes the use of beach chairs, beach umbrellas and blankets. However, due to Governor Murphy’s recent executive order, organized games, contact sports, sports camps, and special events are prohibited on the beach.
Additionally included in the new guidelines from the Governor are the requirements of capacity management and social distancing. Protocols for capacity management are currently under review and are forthcoming. Residents and visitors will be trusted to adhere to the same social distancing practices that are already in place in all aspects of our lives. The Borough asks that you follow any direction provided as it remains necessary to protect everyone’s health and safety.
